MAKING JESUS YOUR CHIEF CORNER STONE

“and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;”Ephesians 2:20 KJV

The churches of today are becoming demolished because they have not kept JESUS as their Chief Corner Stone. HE is the foundation upon which all is built. Once removed, the building collapses. Many churches have removed THE CHIEF CORNER STONE. They have removed FATHER from HIS position. They have no longer made HIM their foundation, thus becoming desolate & demolished. 

“The stone which the builders refused Is become the head stone of the corner.”

Psalm 118:22 KJV

Many churches are becoming the builders that refuse CHRIST. Why are we refusing to preach about CHRIST? Why are we refusing to preach about THE BLOOD OF JESUS? Why are we refusing to preach on How to be saved and stay saved? 

“Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: And he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, The stone which the builders disallowed, The same is made the head of the corner,”

1 Peter 2:6-7 KJV

“Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, The same is become the head of the corner: This is the Lord's doing, And it is marvellous in our eyes? Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.”

Matthew 21:42-44 KJV

“therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.”

Isaiah 28:16 KJV

This word stone in the Hebrew is the word eḇen [Strongs #H68, #H1129]  which means to build, stope, carbuncle, mason, plummet, divers weight, begin to build, builder, obtain children, make, repair, set up. 

In other words, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, WHO IS OUR STONE, OUR ROCK SHALL BUILD US, OBTAIN US, MAKE US, REPAIR US, AND SET US UP I.E. ESTABLISH US. A carbuncle stone is a rare, highly valuable, fiery red gemstone, i.e. a ruby. Keep in mind that a ruby (Sardius) was the first stone identified in the High Priest’s breastplate. That ruby is CHRIST and HE IS FIRST AND OUR LAST. HE IS OUR CHIEF AND OUR HIGH PRIEST. NO MAN CAN BE SAVED BUT THROUGH CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD, AMEN!
