“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: for every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”
Matthew 7:7-8 KJV
I can see a build up here. First you ask FATHER. You make your supplications and request known unto FATHER. But then you must do your part and seek, then you must knock in order for you to open up and enter in HIS house and remain in HIS house.
Ask - #G154 ask, beg, call for, crave, desire, require
Seek - #G2212 to seek (literally or figuratively); specially, (by Hebraism) to worship (God), or (in a bad sense) to plot (against life):—be (go) about, desire, endeavour, enquire (for), require, (X will) seek (after, for, means).
Knock - #2925 to rap; knock
“But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.”
James 4:6 KJV
Resisteth - #G498 #G473 - opposite, i.e. instead or because of (rarely in addition to):—for, in the room of. to range oneself against, i.e. oppose:—oppose themselves, resist.
When you are filled with pride, you will become GOD’S opposition. You stand in the place of GOD in your mind. This is the spirit of leviathan and how he operates.
